  1. Where was everyone? The answer, of course, was that everyone was somewhere else.
  2. I am feeling a brutal headache coming on.
  3. yes very true the ohio state highway patrol has been using "guesstimation" as a tool for pulling people over for years. I got into a very heated arguement with an officer years ago. He told me he had clocked me on the radar speeding (i was actually under the speed limit) so when i asked how fast he clocked me at, he replied that he did not know. yeahhh... anyway when he failed with that arguement he then tried to say i wasnt wearing my seatbelt (which i still had on) he ended up letting me go because i just wasnt buying his bullsh!t. And thats ohio. i cant believe the courts actually will allow them to ticket you based on their opinion with no hard evidence now... this is fvkcin absurd.
  4. Yes, i am beginning to see from being on here that the single people are not a dying breed after all.
  5. I am interested in hearing what peoples opinions and theories on the future might be. Of course I'm still waiting for my flying car they promissed everyone back in the 50's and 60's. However, the information revolution, rapidly advancing technology, and a growing world population opens up all kinds of new possibilities for how the future may play out for society. Will we see the decline of traditional governments and the rise of super corporations who wield enough power to rule with totalitarian authority? Will nanotechnology open up unimaginable new possibilities or biotec give us new forms of body modification far beyond tattoos and piercings? Will a technological singularity give rise to machines that are more intelligent than we are and could 2020 be the year America elects the first cyborg president? Society, politics, economics, technology, etc... what do you think we will see or what would you like to see, serious or hilarious, look into da future an tell us what ya see...
  6. I iz single too, i reckon. Although my x girlfriend and her son still life in my apartment... but we have no relationship at all. So i'm single but have none of the benefits... my house is still noisy (and a mess), i still spend just as much money (and am always broke), there are just as many arguements, and all is still miserable. It does seem that singles are dying out tho. Almost everyone i know is paired up with somebody else these days.
  7. Outhitting immersed drilling neglector terrorizes 23,161 eightballs while varying mass reopenings combusted until strangulated influenceabilities extolled falsified confessionals, ultramicroscopically communicating misalliances.
  8. I collect old ciruit boards, electrical conduit, wrecked car parts that i find along side the road, broken home electronics, scraps of metal or plastic, springs, cogs, gears, nuts, bolts, etc... Why? i just like the stuff, and i usually will take it all apart and make sculptures of it with the help of a whole lot of jb weld and sometimes a soldering iron. So hit me up if you got a busted vcr or and old cellphone that you're thinking of throwing away. ...mail me some rusty nails and a smashed clock radio, i love that kind of stuff.
  9. Now listening to... Rx - "K Y Re:amin (hel.razr remix)" and the screeching brakes of semi trucks stopping on the bridge outside.
  10. dammit, stupid touch screen phone is goin haywire on me here... anyway its not exactly a cd but there is a download of remixes of ohGr's 'welcome to collidoskope' floatin around the internetz out there if anyones into that sort of thing. i liked the original song, i dunno bout the remixes tho...
  11. nice, thanks for the low down on that skinny puppy... last bit of info i heard had suggested a late spring release but it never happened. ...i got to hear the tracks off the new FLA single and yeah it is similar to their music on albums of the recent past but i still enjoyed it and look forward to getting ahold of the whole album when it drops.
  12. Now the time is drawing near, that FLA album is juuuust around the corner... i dont know how anyone else feels about Front Line Assembly, but i for one am excited about this one and i did rather enjoy the 'Shifting Through the Lens' single. Anybody else get an earfull of that one yet? whatya think of it?
  13. i heard it mentioned on here a couple times, but has anyone heard any recent news on the ever illusive Skinny Puppy cd... seems every rumored release date comes and goes, yet still nothing has materialized. i hear there is new Front Line Assembly on the way very soon, but still aint heard nuthin 'bout that skinny puppy album.
  14. im still mad at myself cause i wasnt able to go see skinny puppy last year so i gotta go see this one... i'm not into thrill kill kult as much as skinny puppy but this is an opportunity that can't be missed. i must figure out a way to go there.
  15. I am on the facebook too, as: "Splif Swhite" ...not really on there much, but certainly not picky about who i add. i'll add just about anyone or anything if it peaks my interest or if its somebody i know.
  16. i havent slept in fourty days something here just doesnt feel right this erie place keeps me up all night so tired now i'm loosing my sight yellow sky, turning blue dead planet i look around and see no end signs of extinction appear everywhere this place called earth, is just a burning shell an inner, outer living hell yellow sky, turning blue dead planet we have come so far , just to loose it all this winding road, we call life so civilized within our frame of mind never having learned, to be kind yellow sky, turning blue dead planet what is up with this hole that i'm in no one here can hear me scream "dead planet" : Front line assembly what is up with this place that i'm in someone get me out of this scene
  17. i don't think that there is neccessarily anything wrong with being a conservative. i personally dont consider myself on the right or the left but i strive to be somewhat a moderate. i agree with a lot of ideals that are liberal and those that are conservative, depending on the issues i sometimes lean more one way or the other. the only thing i feel is problematic, is when people begin to fall to the extreme right or extreme left... it seems that many of those on the extreme left/right become closed minded and prejuduced against the other side believing that anything a liberal says, does, or thinks is wrong just because its liberal - or that anything a conservative says, does, or thinks is wrong just because it is conservative. both sides do have valid points and good ideas as well as bad ideas and i think its important to keep an open mind and not get caught up in all the media hype... listen to all points of view and think them over, dont just dismiss something because it came from the left or the right... i think if there was a bit more understanding and openness in politics then the system might run a little more smoothly. of course thats just what i think, i could be wrong.
  18. yeah, i don't know if it can be called music or not. i use korg electribe synth&drum sequencers, a roland sampler & a synthesizer as well as various other odd bits such as a smashed bass guitar with one string left attatched to a handheld am/fm radio. i dont have a computer or any decent recording gear so its mostly all live experimental noise electronics. And thank you for the welcome greeting.
  19. yeah, i have been somewhat of an isolationist during most those years (working too many hours and all that) so i'm just now hearing about a lot of things that were not very well known back when i was out and about. heck, i just got back onto the internet last year after being absent from it since around the whole y2k thing... its like i've been hibernating.
  20. i certainly think the whole steampunk thing is very visually interesting, i had always liked stuff with those kind of design aspects but its only been within this last year that i found out there was a name for it.
  21. Right now its: 'Plasticity' 'Epitaph' 'Conscience' and 'Decoy' by: Front Line Assembly ...but at anytime the entire 'Ain't it dead yet?' live CD by Skinny Puppy. The whole 64 some odd minutes are recorded all as one continuous track on the cd and i could listen to that repeat over and over endlessly, i never get tired of hearing that one.
