There was also Satan's Rejects which was Demented Are Go's Sparky with The Deadbillys doing really dark Western-styled tunes. Hard to find, though.

I probably should've mentioned these bands from the past: The Tombstones (lotta bands had this name;this one was an 80s deathrock band outta Atlanta with a dark bluesy sound akin to Gun Club) http://labyrinth13.com/Tombstones/History.htm Tex & The Horseheads And you probably already know about The Gun Club.
