Round these parts the scene is pretty wanting if you're looking for something more goth-oriented. However, if you're into industrial/EBM/noize then City Club in Detroit (if you're willing to make the trip), Necto Mondays in Ann Arbor, and the bi-weekly Resist events in Ferndale (again, if you're willing to drive some ways) are very accommodating. Didn't grand Rapids have something similar? While not quite goth, the monthly Something Cold(coldwave/minimal synth,death disco) and Plastic Passions(deep,dark retro and 80s new wave) events are refreshing alternatives to the above. Again, though, both take place ways off from Battle Creek - SC in Detroit and PP in Ann Arbor.
