  3. i feel surprisingly well-adjusted! (no not mentally, i went to the chiropractor today!!) time to go workout!
  4. well, not to be a smart-ass, but this thread is about the legality of *abortion*, so...
  5. i'm feeling... 1) positive, cuz practice went well today, 2) tired, cuz i only got 4-5 hrs sleep last night, which isn't enough to recover from a workout, 3) a melancholic, yet happy, to have sat with my son today, 4) full, cuz i just got done with dinner, 5) a bit lonely, not due to the holiday, but because i'm home alone, and missing femalem companionship. (and i don't necessrily mean sex) 6) nostalgic, for the time when i *felt* like i actually had friends. i have them now, i just don't feel like i do. does that make any sense? 7) like i might as well go out tonight, cuz there's no way i'll ever meet someone while sitting alone in my house...
  6. i've been hovering around 213-215 for months, but this week, i added running a mile, on my off-lifting days. weighed myself this morning, and i was at 207.8! (yes, i weigh myself every day, but i do so, to get a feel for my body-condition. i can actually guess, within half a pound, what i weigh at any given time now!) lifting again tonight!! i'm actually realyl diggin this!
  7. because i'm at work, and these women are here on a tour from one of our customers. for some reason, my work seems to frowns on trying to "pick up" the customers' employees!?
  8. i think cupid is stupid, becausue he keeps parading these adorably attractive women in front of me, without my having any legitimate reason for an excuse to interact with them. damn him!!
  9. yeah, saturday is my son's anniversary, so i'm with you... as for me, i'm feeling torn between feeling really great recently, and sad, yet looking forward to, visiting my son's memorial on saturday. speaking of which, i'll be in ann arbor around 4pm, if anyone wants to grab a coffee or something... i'll post it in another forum, too.
  10. post-workout drinks, consisting of; drink 1) quick-digesting carbs *grape flavor!* (1 scoop/40g Waxy Maize (amylopectin - corn-based modified starch)) (wait 15 min. or so) drink 2) protein shake *ice cream strawberry flavor!* (1.5 cups skim milk, 1 scoop (28.4 g) powdered whey protein, 2 teaspoons CGT (powder containing 5g Creatine Monohydrate, 3g L-Glutamine, 2g Taurine,, and 5g Inulin) pm me if you have any questions about the above - i love to discuss supplements, but i don't want to derail the thread!

  12. my point was, that if you ate more than you usually do, you weren't "eliminating" it as fast as you were taking it in, which means those three pounds are likely just undigested food, rather than any more permanent weight, i.e. fat cells, etc... see? there's a positive way to look at anything!
  13. eh, that's within normal range strictly for water retention, regardless of what foods you've eaten in the last few days... don't sweat it!
  14. i want my lower back to loosen up - it's still hruting from the firewood haulin this weekend... tylenol & motrin are barely working!

  16. physically exhausted - worked out yesterday, not remembering i had to haul two truckloads of firewood today. wouldn't have been a problem if it had been all cut and split; it wasn't, because i got a great deal on uncut wood. problem with that, is the fact that along with the smaller uncut sections, there were maybe 25-30 logs, each likely weighing between 100-200 lbs each. not only that, but i couldn't get the truck back to the wood pile, so i had to carry each one maybe 40 ft. to get them back there. i haven't even cut any for a fire tonight yet! i'm gonna be so sore tomorrow! oh, well, i guess it's good exercise, right!?
  17. tired... constantly tired, even when i'm feeling good/upbeat/excited.
  18. here's something i bet you wouldn't expect to see - i might actually have to buy larger pants soon. i'm losing fat, but my legs/calves/glutes are really gaining a lot of muscle, and now all my pants are tight! a little looser at the waist, but tighter in the thighs, ass & calves! (i wear boot-cut jeans, and my calves are tight!? wow!) anyway, i'm down maybe 5 lbs, and the creatine supp. i've been taking helps muscle retain up to 5lbs of water, on average, so i might actually be down almost 10lbs!? eh, still flabby round the middle, though - back to work!!
  19. frustrated and achy. house hasn't been above about 60deg in the last three days, and trying to sleep when it's that cold, even under tons of blankets, just isn't working. i'm sore all over, from being tense all night trying to keep warm. oh, and the whole not-sleeping-well-because-i'm-frozen thing isn't helping at all...
