this is one of the top issues i have with many of the organized religious institutions with which i've had experience. seriously, why do they have to have a fancy-ass "house of worship", other than to make themselves feel good? "oooh - look at our fancy church! aren't we special, mr. homeless guy!?" and a statue? a freakin' statue, when there are people in serious need? disgusting.

there's a difference between "stop looking" and keeping you eyes open for it. stop looking doesn't mean become oblivious, it just means stop putting emphasis on it. for a lot of people, when they try to look, they come across as either pushy, or desperate, or both.

Leland City Club 400 Bagley Street Downtown Detroit You enter by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of The Leland Hotel building just before the gated parking area on the side of the building nearest 1st Street.
