troy, a couple months ago, i saw on the donations list a couple of offline donations totaling well over $100 (one was for $70, iirc). how is it that they didn't seem to be applied to the "minimum donation" level, and can they be used to cover this month?

ok, banned. i didn't want to - i even exchanged PMs in the hopes of resolving this amicably, but that was before i saw this last set of posts calling me names & complaining about how gross "people" here are. i didn't delete any old posts (i just hid the last one), and if any of you who know her want to talk with her & see if something's wrong, please do. i'd be happy to reinstate her user if she agrees to abide by the board rules.

it's going to have to be a ban. i already deleted a post by her due to breaking the rule about personal attacks. she's gotten around that this time by leaving names out, but in the previously deleted thread, she complained of wanting emails to stop, and that if they didn't, she would basically work to get herself banned. i'll get on this soon...

make a new facebook account solely for the purpose of creating your gofundme account and nothing else...

next time she offers, maybe ask her why she needs to sell them - maybe she's having some issues at home & thinks selling them could help somehow? maybe a parent is out of work, or someone's bullying her for money, etc, and she doesn't know what to do? this isn't typical behavior...

i had a fwe "heroes" i looked up to as a kid - i learned really quickly that people are fallable, and just as human as the rest of us. now i can appreciate particulars about someone's life, but i never idolize anyone anymore, because they're no better/worse than i am.

[rant] I say, the next time anyone bitches about anything you do (or supposedly aren't doing), you just scream out "I QUIT THIS BITCH!", pack your shit, & move away without leaving a forwarding address. If people can't/won't appreciate what you do for them, it is well within your rights to place yourself first & live life for yourself. Let them try to get by on their own. If they can't, (to quote Ice T in Body Count), Fuck 'em. I don't care if it''s family or not, nobody has the right to take advantage of someone the way it seems your family is doing to you. Don't want to/can't walk away? Set some boundaries and enforce them! People will treat you the way you allow them to - stop allowing it. You're the only one who can stand up for yourself. quick question - not to be an ass - but how long have you known this guy? seems like it hasn't been long, and personally, i would be wary of someone who's moving that fast in a relationship. throws up red flags for me. not trying to bring you down, just concerned.

troy, that only helps going forward - is there/can you find a way to unfollow everything en masse for all users? nobody wants to have to go back and unfollow every single thread they've posted in individually...
