Bore da! Sut mae heddiw wedi bod, i'm holl bobl ryfedd? Ruadhán ydw i, ac rydw i yma. (yn nawr, yn Saesneg...) Good morning! How has today been, for all my weird people? I'm Ruadhán, and I'm here. I've been in and out of the metro-Detroit and A³ Goth, Punk, and Industrial scene since ca1998/'99-ish. I used to be a regular at Labyrinth for Resurrection Saturdays with Brian Necro (then his staph photographer, then briefly a Friday night DJ with Egore), and kind of "inherited" the old Ann Arbor Gothic Gatherings non-club event meets around Y2K/'01. Circa 2004, I took a hiatus from the Gothic subculture for a few years to transition (female-to-male), and ultimately re-integrated around 2011, as an alternate/substitute DJ at Black Mass/Owl Cave Sundays in Lansing, Mich., alongside DJs Jay D'Nihil (sp? If not this, dude, change your "official" spelling to this), Jaysen Craves, and (now-)Brennan LeFleur. I used to have a radio shift, unofficially called The Graveyard Shift at WCBN 88.3FM Ann Arbor, and currently do a shift on an Internet-based station, DJ Spookypants' 3-Hour Radio Hour, Tuesday 10pm-1am US Eastern/Detroit time, on WFKU —I also livestream this shift over a half-arsed attempt at simulcast via my "channel" on Teh EweTewbz, where sometimes I remember to upload a topic-video or something involving my own music. Other than my "scene resume," I'm a musician (classically trained lyric tenor; pop voice with a countertenor through baritenor range; five years formal study [classical and jazz focus] on viola, self - taught about five years on harmonium), artist, writer, and Cat Servant.
