Leigh Nash from Sixpence, and no I don't like chirstian rock at all!! =( But a psychobilly friend Larry Loved them, and talked me into going to one of their shows at the House of blues in Anaheim and the moment I heard her start to sing Puedo Escribir I got goosebumbs.

She has an amazing voice, and I'm not talking about that damn 'kiss me " song .. :doh

Check out their album "This beautiful Mess"

or "fatherless and the widow" ... they are amazing.

I am not talking, produced and played out pop singers.  People who actually write, and/or play an instument....sind yah, but sing and write.  Not just dance.

I love Shirley Manson.....Her lyrics are the best.

Female singers with great lyrics can get me to listen to bands I'd otherwise not.

Shirley Manson from Garbage, an awesome person besides

Maria from Battery, she put a lot of feeling into their non-experimental songs

Jussi Gamache from Freezepop

Jessicka Fodera, formerly from Jack off Jill and now singing for Scarling.

The other three girls that started Jack off Jill  :wink

Le Tigre, all of them, lol

Tairrie B from My Ruin, sultry voice and great lyrics

Shikhee from Android Lust, possibly the first woman to both sing in and compose industrial music, certainly the most well-known (Erica Dunham from Unter Null is the only other one I recall offhand)

Amanda Palmer from The Dresden Dolls. Awesome songwriter.

Yes, I thought....John Lennon just did waaay to many drugs to think his wife had any actual talent. Did she brain wash him or what???

We were sitting on the couch the other night watching some thing with clips from the 60's and Yoko was in it. She started uh.....singing? It was more like a sheep in pain.....it was HORRIBLE.
