Head Wreck
does anyone have any advice. i'm looking to get a few surplus gear and other items off such as a largely unused pristine ikea rug thats been out of prod for donkeys now, to old millitary surplus i no longer use. at the moment i'm looking at turbo lister but i'm not sure on the options on each item. is there an aditional charge for having a picture on the listings? how do you get a small image on the search listings to show. etc. also any other advice would be greatly appreciated
pomba gira
does anyone have any advice. i'm looking to get a few surplus gear and other items off such as a largely unused pristine ikea rug thats been out of prod for donkeys now, to old millitary surplus i no longer use. at the moment i'm looking at turbo lister but i'm not sure on the options on each item. is there an aditional charge for having a picture on the listings? how do you get a small image on the search listings to show. etc. also any other advice would be greatly appreciated <{POST_SNAPBACK}> TurboLister isn't really worthwhile unless you plan to have 20 or more auctions running at any given time. As for pix, if you're uploading them directly to eBay, you get one for free, then they charge for any more. I have mine hosted on RanchoWeb so I can use as many as I want without paying eBay any more loot. Having your main pic show in the listings is one of the listing options. I don't know a lot about the details of eBay's listing process & fees for all the little listing extras 'cos I list all my stuff through Ranchoweb & write my own HTML for most things. Best advice I can give: Make sure your auctions end during normal business hours. A lot of people only have 'puter access at work. Everytime I've got something really dirt cheap on 'Bay, it was an auction that ended late at night or on a weekend. Also be as descriptive as you can... it doesn't hurt to give every imaginable detail about the item. The more pics (different angles, etc) the better, too. And don't do annoying bogue shyte like keyword spamming or having a miniscule bid price but outrageous shipping fees (to avoid paying the final value fees)... these are things that deeply offend me and I have no compunction whatever about ratting people out over them.
