What "glory days" exactly are we talking about? What years?

'cause in MY glory days of the early 90's, hearing industrial was rare.

I'd be interested in seeing what a possible setlist might look like, please.

As somone who started in 92 and still goes to this day. I think you a bit off base in claiming that they rarely played Industrial. In the early 90 to mid 90's you heard a ton of Industrial as well as Alternative,Punk, and Goth. CC has always played a variety of music but Industrial much more than anything else mainly because it was new back then. You can't expect a club to not progress with the times.

As for Bradd and Jon taking over Friday's. I think it is by far the best thing that has happened to Friday's in a very long time. The 2 of them on Friday's are going to be fantastic. You all need to come back on a friday and check it out.

Actually, you're completely right in that if you read any descriptions/reviews of CC through the years, most say the musical focus has been industrial.

But "industrial" is a label often overused as a catch-all for everything from punk to goth to darkwave, etc.

Wish I could find a setlist dating back to the early 90's. What I heard was more along the lines of The Cure, Siouxsie, Bauhaus, Fugazi, early NIN, The Smiths, etc.

What was known as "Industrial" at that time was a lot more pop than true industrial of today. Different people are going to have different expectations of what this means, based on when "their glory days" of CC were, is what I'm getting at.

Thus, I'd really be interested in seeing a potential setlist.

That is a good question about the night that he brings up? What is the format what can we expect? I would like to here all of the formentioned bands... not just the Industrial or Just the Synthpop/futurepop/ebm.... I kind of like a mix of both... I will admit that I haven't heard much industrial at all at CC recently and would like to hear both

Don't think too much into it guys.

Those that know me know I love making the crowd happy. Theres no specific format - it's what the crowd is reacting to that I play.

My job is to get people on the dance floor having a blast. Yeah, that sometimes means people get pissed off when I dont play a request that only a couple people are going to enjoy but I do make sure the majority are having a blast.

So, plain and simple: My goal is to get 200 people moving every night on that dance floor with another 100 running around drinking and about 20 more who love me so much they want to buy me a drink. ;) LOL

In any case - a couple people here know my styles, know what I bring to a club environment - they can vouch for me that Fridays are about to get a whole hell of a lot of fun again.

Love you all! :D

If thats what you want, why don't you go to Luna?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Because she lives all the way in westland, so it's a longer drive. Also while luna is cool and all, it isn't her "home". I guess she's been going there for a long time and she's built a relationship with the place.

Also not that I've been to Luna recently to see you spin but when is the last time you played Siouxsie or Bauhaus? The others I know get lots of play on Tuesdays. The only time I hear Bauhaus at all that night is durring the ticket giveaways when they're talking and it's always the same song and they never play it all the way through.
