As some of you know, I quit smoking 17 days ago. I'm REALLY happy about it. I've also begun to take different types of herbal supplements and drink protein shakes that have shit like algae and spinach, yet taste oddly like fruit.

WTF is WRONG with me? Everyone knows that I love greasy meat! I still do, but now, I'm eating......VEGGIES? And drinking healthy shakes??? I mean, come on. Since when do I enjoy anything green that isn't cash? Dolla dolla billz y'all.....

And today, I had a glycolic acid (30% glycolic acid, kids! Smell the smoke!) peel on my face, along with microdermabrasion. This killer shit helps fight and eliminate fine lines and creases. Sucks the crap out of your crap-filled pores, too. Not only am I on fire, but I'm clean as a whistle. Just like my intestines.

Turning 41 in 3 months is so.......inspiring. How are YOU feeling?

Really truly, today I feel very old and very tired. I'm being treated for anemia once again so that is a big part of it I know. Better days will come once my blood is built up again I know, but for today I'm exhausted.

Those protein shakes sound like something I should try. I love veggies but often don't eat them because it's just more tempting to eat junk, plus people around me tempt me with pizza and I know it's going to drive my triglycerides and cholesterol back up.

I really need to do better. It's difficult when you aren't really heavy but still can not have white flour and cheese and dairy, and people push it on you. It's like they think I'm antisocial because I don't eat it with them, but they don't realize I'm not dieting for weight - it's my heart I'm trying to protect.

They're by Naked Juices. And it's all juice. I like them so much, it's scary. Since quitting smoking, I've been drinking a lot more water. I just started paying through the nos.....I mean, drinking these juices yesterday. I also don't eat after 7:00pm.

I would like to know how one eliminated white flour. Can you have wheat products? I'd love to ditch the white. Any ideas would be awesome.

Naked juices! heh! I love that name. I really need someone to follow me around and remind me to drink water! I like soda so much. It's killing me.

Yes, I can have wheat. White flour used to be almost my entire diet. I'd have a bagel and egg for breakfast with spaghetti or pizza for lunch and maybe more pasta for supper. Horrible diet. My triglycerides were through the roof.

I've replaced my white bread with Brownberry natural wheat. I've not been able to find a 100% whole wheat bread I can stomach, but this one's a good percentage of whole wheat with white added to make it a bit softer.

I also haven't been able to find a whole grain pasta that I can stand so I just avoid pasta altogether.

Pizza is my downfall though. I try to save it for weekends. Even with weekend cheating though, my cholesterol/triglyceride labs normalized after I changed my diet so I am happy about that.
