I don't know if this belongs under this topic or the music one but something about her really concerns me. For being the type of person she is and the erotic things she did, that made alot of people consider her to be a radicle. Yet she has these strict rules for her children like the biggest one is that she forbids them to watch any T.V. This is not just monitering certain shows but strictly no T.V. I find very ironic coming from a person who supports what is showing but doesn't allow it.

I never really loked her music to begin with.

i dont watch much tv tbh, only if theres a good film on or the odd series i will follow (BSG, NCIS). most TV is junk tv anyhow, i really dont want to watch reality tv 24/7

When i look at this issue i see a person who is being Radical. NO Tv for a kid is pretty radical in our day of a tv in every room car and refiderator. She may be under the belief that what happens and what is shown may be alright for an adult but not for children. Which as a mother i can understand there are plenty of things i do/see as an adult that is so inappropiate for any kid to even know about.

Bull. When I hear about someone like Madonna doing a thing like this, the "keeping up appearances" bell starts ringing in my head.

Tell me, have you never known people who take every opportunity to tell everyone in the room that they "don't own a TV" or "never watch TV?" It's because they want to sound smarter. Madonna is just doing it through her children. It's the same reason she has a different accent now. Because she wants to seem cultured and refined and Euro and unconventional. Goddamn hippies.

I think she just doesn't want her children seing how big of a raging slut she was.

She may infact be stupid.. but she is smart enough to take what she has and market it in such a way as to get millions of people to pay her good money.

So she doesn't allow her children to watch tv... why is that a bad thing? What good is that TV doing you? It entertains you... but there are other things you can do.. read a book... play with your toys... TV is not required for a healthy well rounded life... infact.. it pretty much hampers one.
