City Club, Friday, July 7th

Every time there's a holiday, Walgreen's truck drivers get that day off and the whole delivery schedule shifts a day. Well, due to 4th of July, things have changed so instead of getting my usual Fridays and Sundays off, I will soon have Sundays and Mondays instead. This Friday is my last bit of nightlife for a while. So, I'm hitting City Club. If anyone wants to join me in saying goodbye to clubbing for a while, you know where to find me. (Though not until later in the night because ... uh, stuff.)

That is so totally ridiculous... at my work, they gave us the 3rd and 4th off, but to "atone," we all have to work saturday and next week is back to normal. that's why i won't be at city at all this week

Possibly, but since I have to be to work that Saturday, at NINE FRICKEN AM, so I may not go, and just wait for Saturday.

On the 3rd, I worked 11pm to 8am so once it hit midnight, that's 8 hours of holiday pay. Then on the fourth I worked 11pm to 7am so until midnight that's 1 more hour of holiday pay. 9 hours at time and a half? Not bad. Still shitty I had to work on the holiday while the truck drivers get it off which totally killed my social life for a while.

Update: I'm going to Ann Arbor this evening. If things go well, I may not be going to CC at all. More than likely though, I'll be there later after she gets tired and kicks me out so she can sleep.

My date went well. We were just chillin' watching videos but as I predicted she got tired close to ten. So, I changed into club clothes and off to CC it was. Hung out with Crank for a while. Saechalyn showed up (thanks Saech) so we chatted for a while. Thanks to DJ Bradd for getting CXS on. He said give him about 4-5 songs and he'd find something suitable to mix in. 2 songs later and I was singing along to "Marilyn ..."

But, goodbye to City for now. I will return to thee anon when my work schedule changes again.
