Daevion's going out of business sale!

Recommended Posts

Unfortuantly 2006 has not been kind and I'm completely ruined financially. I now have no choice but to sell off practically everything I have, well at least the non-essential things. Nows the time to get some good stuff dirt ass cheap.

Ebay ( don't forget to click view all sellers items )

Over the next few weeks I'll be adding all kinds of stuff......CD's, Xbox games, pc games, DC and Marvel comics, StarWars and Xmen toys, collectibles, magic the gathering cards, etc! Trust me this is stuff I really don't want to part with but at this point I have no choice.

I only have a few items listed right now.....but...starting next monday I'll be adding alot more!!! I have boxes of stuff to go thru...and I have to work all weekend. Please don't PM asking what I have to sell before I get a chance to put it up on ebay....especially things like comics, magic cards and CD's because I soo many to go thru, its all boxxed up, and I can't possibly recall all of it.

Note: If anyone finds anything they want and don't have paypal but still want to bid, an arrangement is possible if you live in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area or you are willing to drive here. Feel free to PM me. =)

heh.. I'm in the same boat. I'm havig good luck selling books, cds games and the like on Amazon.com. It's been alot more sucessful than Ebay for these items and I tend to get more for them. It's worth looking into. I'm only using Ebay for my clothes.. *hugs* Hang in there.

What's the reserve price, stupid reserve price.

Hope things get better.

Any CD's I win I'll make you copies of.

I helped out and bought his Playstation set. Its been a long time since I have played on it. I need to buy a modchip so I can play the burned games too.

Nienna had a good idea so you may have a better chance selling the CDs and comics on Amazon.

Thanks everyone! =)

Questions for you pro ebayers out there ( first time selling stuff so Im a noob )

1. So is it better to charge a flat rate for shipping or use the calculator? seems like a lot of people go for flat rate on ebay.

2. Is the reserve price to my advantage or will it hurt sales? Is it better to bump the starting price a bit and leave reserve off?

3. Is a longer auction length desirable or shorter one?

any advice will help me out alot...thanks!

Update: more items up! =)

To answer the questions:

I always go with an estimated flat price for shipping. Estimate alittle high to cover your packing supplies. Most people prefer Priority Mail for shipping.

I NEVER use a reserve price. Most buyers want to see what you want for the thing up front. It's been more sucessful for me to start something at $100 lets say than to start it at $1 with a reserve price of $100. Buy It Now ususally sells stuff faster for me.

Go with the standard 7 day auction. It's free and it gives people time to see your auction. Try to start them on a weekend so they end on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. That is when the most people will be searching Ebay for stuff.

=)

thx....thats some great advice!!! I got hit with about 6 messages complaining about reserve so I'm thinking along the same lines you are and ditching it for future listings.
