:blink I was telling someone this week that I honestly can't handle stupid people. I loose my concentration because of A.D.D. then my narcalepsy kicks in. If a conversation doesn't hold my attention I honestly nod off. I can't control it. So I can't handle stupid people at all. My husband is so smart and has so many wonderful things to say we can talk until 3 am.......and not repeat ourselves. Some of my friends, well.....lets just say if we are not dancing and drinking......or.......or.........well......the night will end early. :cheerful :cheerful

Sometimes Ignorance is Bliss.....

Am I wrong?

I think I want to "Un-Learn" sometimes.

I know too much.

If I didn't ever know, I'd probably go through life alright.

But since I know, I can't unknow it...so now I just deal with it and live with it....but had I never known, I'd be oblivious....which might be less stressful.

What You Ask?

Don't.

The thing is there are two different kinds of dumb people. The ones that are dumb because they are unlearned and dont know things. What makes those kind of people interesting is that they are willing to learn and are genuinely interested in learning new things. the other kind of dumb person is the one that can be hard to talk to because they dont want to learn new things and just are unwillingly and want to stay that way. However, I dont like to use the word dumb. It is all in the person who is percieving the other. This group of people could think that you are very intelligent the other group could think that you are just ignorant and dumb and want to have nothing to do with you. Its all in who you talk to .

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

So you're saying that stubborn, intelligent people who eschew wisdom are MORE annoying than Forrest Gumps who constantly try to understand shit they're just not equipped for?

Brr. Can't commit to that one.
