Xaina
Causing a Scene Productions This past Monday CASP did a live performance at Necto. It was a somewhat fetish style dance routine to Souxiee and the Banshees (actually "The Creatures"), Pinned Down. For those who enjoyed what you saw, we do weekly shows that range from 3-6 scenes at Q in Ferndale. We call it "Voyeur, because you like to watch." We've brought Detroit shows like, Rock Show, Love ThySelf, Japanica, and Violins. Our croud is generally very eclectic, a little goth here, a little prep there, gay, straight, everything in between... DJ Darren plays a wide variety of Goth, Industrial, Electroclash and Retro Hits. He also takes requests well. We will also be at the Dirty Show this year. Dirty Show has been our biggest supporter in the time CASP has been around. If anyone got to witness the Halloween Dirty Show Masquerade, at City Club, you got to see the range CASP is capable of. A mixture of gore, sex, comedy, nudity, and dance. We are a very diverse performance art group, and everyone is trained in dance. We work together to create complex, interactive, and visually stimulating performances in a fun and erotic fashion. Our music can range from fast hip hop and dark electronic, to Nina Haggen and Frank Sinatra. Dance styles range from tap and burlesque, to ballet and jazz. What we do is an art form. So, we are in "one of the largest erotic art showcases in the world", which seems to suit us. We are also always looking for new performers. We are open to friendly, creative people who are interested in a fun challenge. You'll learn to dance in ways you never thought you could, and meet a huge team of fun, crazy, and creative people. Causing a Scene Productions isn't a little fetish circus, we are a live company with a unique product of entertainment. Come check out a Voyeur and see for your self! Also, keep your eyes open for the website, www.causingascene.com. It'll be up soon. We hope that those who got to see us at Necto enjoyed the performance. There was a considerable applause, and the owner was all compliments. But, due to the far drive and the fact that we are booked pretty heavily as it is, we will not be making frequent trips to the Necto. You may see us pop in once a month or so and break out a routine or two, but we will not be a part of your regular night. Thank you for having us, we had a good time. Troy Spiral (13)
Thanks for the info =) I think many people are fairly clueless when they see these "CASP" event posts , in terms of what it actually is. This , hopefully will clear up some of the confusion.
