I'm telling you for the last time.....

Recommended Posts

so heres the deal: its hot.

friggen humid as hell.

tommorow my classic rock band Power Source is doing one last gig at the park in Garden city, corner of Merriman and CHerry Hill. Well be doing songs from Zepplin to Audioslave to Alice Cooper to REO speedwagon....all the stuff you spooky kids love.

its an all day event - I think 7 bands are playing, we're next to last - with Yankeeville headlining.

we go on at 6:30 PM. I will be the one up in front singing - and melting.

theres free burgers and dogs, its a BYOB event, lots of stuff for the kids to do like pony rides and games, all that fun chit.

did I mention it will be hot?

this is our last gig of the summer - after that we're taking a much needed hiatus to rest and do some songwriting of our own.

see ya.

Steven

Tomorrow being one of the only days I DON'T go to Garden City ... unless I end up taking the kids to their dad's tomorrow evening.

6:30 ... I'll see what I can do. Maybe Phee and I can stop by, if only for a bit.

Can't make it, but good luck. And cool to hear your band will be writing their own music...don't know anything about your band, don't know if you've written/played your own music before.

In los ANgeles the only bands I'd ever been in were original bands. Yes I've written and played my own stuff, even got the lucky chance to hear my s tuff on the radio and tv, doing covers out here is a new experience for me, but I'm enbjoying it. I just want to add some balance and color to what were doing now.

that would be nice to meet you two, but I understand if you cant make it.

Like I told Brass, I'll be the sweaty guy up front melting to the melody...

We were there for a bit. Would have been there longer and gotten there sooner -- but yeah ... stuff happens.

It was a great show and it was great to meet you Steven!

I got some pictures, I'll try to post them tomorrow sometime.
