None on either of my sides ... that WE know of ... I'm naturally reddish brown. It came from somewhere ... guessing dad's side wayyyyy back since his mom was half Irish.

Mom's side is Native American all the way ... all very dark hair.

no. but one of your ancesters was.

just like the sirname morris. is a mutation of moor-ish, before people had propper sirnames they were often distunguished by area, holdings, profession or description. as imigration was rife in the medievil to renesance period people of darker skin toones were often called moorish.

my sirname is williams. normandy of origin, so on my dad's side we have frogs as well as gypsies

well i know that my grandpa is pure german and grandma pure polish on my dads side. and my mums side is dutch. weve researched (i have an aunt who is into geneology) and back for thousands of years (as far back as she can find anyway) this is the case. there is no account of anything even close to irish or scottish on any side.

As one of Eurpean lineage, it would be a miracle of coincidence and inbreeding if you weren't a direct descendent of ANYONE who had any filial link to Scotland or Ireland, ever at all.
