My friend Lisa just bought a hearse, I'll call and ask her if she's planning on selling her minivan.

Yes I am jellous as hell too.

http://cgi3.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...rid=pazuzukitty is her e-bay info if you want to get something from her store too, or contact her through that about it.

Busy singal, I'll call later or talk to her at Luna tomorrow since she works door.

yeah the "green" was a joke. ;) i was having a feeling about getting a green van.

well apparently my husband found one for really cheap yesterday. cheapest he had come across so far.

this one is maroon......

with wood paneling/siding!!! whatever it is called.

i really do need the "vote for pedro" shirt now.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

i would so take that over what i got........ a nice low profile nothing special about it vechile...... I got a bright ass purple car ..... everyone sees it.... cant miss me....... hell if ya live in my area you have probally seen me putting around..... I hate it....... espcially when i am playing hooky from work and some one says hey i saw ya drivin....... omg i cant say no it was some other chick in that purple car... ughhhhh i hate it.......

i'd actually prefer the bright purple to the wood panel. ;)

omg it is so ugly. i was laughing at it last night, and that was in the dark. just saw it this am in the light- i laughed again.

my husband was getting mad at me. he already loves this thing. told me he would keep it for himself if i was going to "be that way". he got really offened. i was like- i can laugh at the wood siding- that IS funny. doesn't mean i don't appreciate having the nice spacious family mobile. just means that wood siding on a CAR is FUNNY. and it is. i have not really seen one of these before. and i doubt it will be the "once you get one you see them everywhere" scenerio.

that's cool though too right? i'll never have trouble finding my car. ever.

it just sucks when you are trying not to be noticed........

also it sucks when your kid tells you your car is embarrising cause every one calls it the Barny Mobile.........

In all honesty i cant complain as for as reliability... the car only has 50 thou mile on it and the body is in great shape and nothing is broken except for a few annoying things, like, one of the door pocket fell off, the defogger button does not stay down so i wedge a penny in it, and the freakin CD player eats CD's.......Truth be known i will probally have that car till it dies casue it has been ohhh soo good to me.

i do hate too that my new vehicle does not have power locks or windows. the locks are handy with the kids. the power windows are just nice. ;)

and the back end hatch- doesn't stay open. i will have to hold it up. i laughed at that too. that will be fun when i go grocery shopping.

i don't want to be noticed either and BELIEVE me i WILL be noticed in this thing. an 89 voyager with jacked up wood siding. it will be hard to miss that. ;)

but i can't complain really.i am just making fun of it.

his friend last night saw it and said to him "what, did you get the first mini van ever made?" THAT was funny. :)

When Jon and I knew we were moving to NC at the beginning of 2002, we decided to take a trip up to the UP in the previous summer, to see things we thought we'd never see again.

2 days into the trip, the 89 Cavalier Z-24 we were driving blew a rod, leaving us without a vehicle. We had to pull the rest of the money we had left for the trip together and either rent a car, a 1-way U-Haul or buy a car from the classifieds.

Thankfully, we found a woman in the classifieds in this very tiny town selling a minivan for about $100 more than we had on us. We checked it out, and bought it - and she even knocked off another $50 on top of the $100 so we'd have enough money for gas and a meal for the ride home.

That minivan was, I believe, the same model as the one you've just bought. Ours didn't have wood siding, and it was blue. But it had no 3rd seat, was kinda dirty, and if left sitting too long, would need a jump start to get going again. And it WAS ugly.

We ended up buying a 1999 truck (the truck we have now) just about a month after returning home, and sold that minivan for all of maybe $400. I will always be greatful about that vehicle, and seeing that model brings a stupidly warm feeling to my heart.

The town we made it to was Munising - where we got married in 1998. Yes, our trip got abruptly and depressingly cut short, but at least we made it to the falls where we handfasted before having to move out of state.

Thank you, Plymouth Voyagers around the world, for making some people's lives a little better in a time of need.

(By the way, my dad had Plymouth Voyagers from the year they first came out up to today. He went against type to buy a Chevy minivan for a couple years, but ended up going back to Voyagers.)
