Covenant

One of THE biggest bands in the electro scene returns to Detroit!

With their beginnings in the mid eighties, Covenant hail from the south of Sweden in a town called Helsingborg. Their music has become an accessible blend of electro-pop and industrialism, infinitely danceable, filled with an uplifting and upbeat energy.

Igniting the E.B.M. scene with unstoppable dance floor hits (ie: Stalker, Call the Ships to Port, We Want Revolution, Dead Stars and so many more) Covenant remain the mark to reach for many new emerging bands. With the perfect combination of Eskil's haunting, dark, majestic vocals, to Joakims and Claus' pulsating techno beats, creative noise samples, and amazing synth work, the band has created a strong North American following as well as an enormous European base.

Rotersand

Formed in Germany in September of 2002 by Gun and Rascal with producer Krischan J.E. Wesenberg joining shortly after. Prior to working in Rotersand, Rasc and Gun had collaborated together on other projects such as The Fair Sex, 1a.m. and Warm. Rotersands music can generally be described as invigorating and contemplative, contemporary yet timeless. Stylistically VERY diverse, drawing influences from the pop, dance, indie, techno and noise scenes into their somber lattice of dark electro sounds, the results are so infectious that no club DJ could ignore them. From "Merging Oceans" to "Almost Wasted" onto "Exterminate, Annihilate, Destroy" and many other club hits, Rotersand has quickly established their position in the electro pantheon. The energetic, poignant sound of Rotersand has instantly caught audiences' attention worldwide and come October, Detroiters will finally get their opportunity to witness this amazing act.

Imperative Reaction

Gaining immediate attention for their stunning debut ( some years ago on the legendary Zoth Ommog label ) then returning with the brilliant 'Ruined' in 2002 and 2004's "Redemption", U.S. electro act Imperative Reaction have matured into a league of their own, and become one of the major contenders in the field of dancefloor electro. Combining aggressive, uncompromising and relentless beats with smooth programming, highly charging sequences and accentuated vocals, Imperative Reaction creates songs that will get stuck in people's heads as well as challenge their minds. From supporting VNV Nation on their 2005 U.S. Tour, to the recent reissue of their debut CD, onwards to their eagerly awaited new releases, Imperative Reaction is a band that continues to gain momentum and should not be missed.
