Nienna
I feel like such a moron having to ask this... but it just isn't working! My TV is a small, older TV/VCR combo. There are no jacks in the back except for cable. There are 2 in the front, one white (marked audio) and one yellow (marked video). The PS2 has 3 plugs, red, white, yellow. What do I do? Nothing I've tried works... does it need some sort of adapter?
Vater Araignee
just plug th one white into white and yellow into yellow. you wont have sterio but it should work or you could get a RF converter so that you can hook up to your cable input I have seen them as low as $15.00 hope it helps

I'm going to get a converter and see if it works. It's a used system so if the RF converter is no good I'll return it and get another one in case that is the problem. Thanks! Troy Spiral (13)
It should work without a need for the converter. You may need to change the line-in mode, meaning, there should be a button either on the TV or on the remote that lets you switch from TV/VCR/CABLE and such. I had my old PS2 setup on a simple TV exactly the way you describe it , plugged in the same way Vater describes. Currently my DVD player is plugged in the same way as well. Guess the PS2 or one of the line-in plugs (video / audtio jacks) could be bad.
Nienna
Nothing worked. My TV is older than me I think. I ended up getting a RF converter and am now playing my life away... Thanks guys!
