I sent out an email to everyone that hadn't opted-out of the admin emails (800 ish people) with the title:

A Request for Help / Suggestions (DGN)

Basicly saying "any problems with DGN? (of any sort)" ? Let me know...

To which there was , zero replies. My question is did anyone actually get that mail? I know my one test account did not. Just trying to figure out if thats yet another thing i need to fix or not.

I got the email but on my yahoo account which i don't use but yes I got it and i fingured i answered it by posting on your post requesting info on problems........and wow your like all over the problems ....Do you have a "S" on your chest?.......it is great to have you back on the case ....... :bow

I got it, but all my issues seem to be resolved, however please look into saephyr's account, she cannot login.....and before anyone else starts to flame me.....I was asked to say that.

I've called Saephyr three times and left two messages and no answer so far. I keep getting her machine. She was given a temporary password which she will be able to replace as soon as she logs in and it works fine for me.

My best guess is that she needs to clear her cookies or try another browser.

Since I can log in as her fine and it seems to be her computer it needs to be fixed on HER end, not ours. I think she is away for the weekend but I'll try again tonight and tomorrow. As soon as she returns my call I plan to walk her through it to see at what point she is getting the error.

I got one to but I think my spam filter caught it for some reason. I fished out of the trash and had it on my list of to do's...

Only real issue I continually have is the viewing thumbnails thing with Firefox but that seems to be common.

Anyhow, Welcome back fearless leader. You where sorely missed. BTW, Where do I get more of those nifty DGN business cards to hand out over on this side of the state? Hell, Ill take a image and print them myself if you have it digital.

As was commented on in a diff thread, if your a Windoze user you can use this fix to get around that issue. If your not using Windoze then its more of a problem.

God damn spam filters! Yeah thats a perpetual problem. Any email address that sends out more than like 2 emails a day can get put on "spam blocker" lists. Many of the people that signup for the board actually , we have to manually validate becasue they never get the validation email. Frustrating problem, one which has no "single" fix for as there are so many different spam blocker systems out there. =.(

The cards... PM me your address and i can just mail you some. Also heres the images : DGN Business Card Images Can use all the promotion help we can get.

I really need to break down and make an actual "promotions" page with info about promoting dgn and various banner links and other stuff one of these days. /slaps self

As was commented on in a diff thread, if your a Windoze user you can use this fix to get around that issue. If your not using Windoze then its more of a problem.

That , along with several other minor problems with the board (many of which no one really has noticed yet) has to do with the way the backend of IPB talks with the front end , all of which theoreitcally are fixed with the newer version of IPB. Probably will start tackling that in the next day or so. It needs to be done eventually, i've just been putting it off. IF it goes well it wont be any problem at all. But somehow i cant picture there not being tons of glitches upgrading becasue DGN is heavily customized and IPB is notorious for not playing well with customized stuff. *shudder*
