You know....just my brain tossing up ideas again....

But what if this:

They say that we (our solar system) is within the giant arm of a spiral galaxie.

Everything in which is on the outside of the spiral will eventually be sucked into its vortex/black hole/galactic center.)

So what about the sun and planets then?

The reason we are stuck circleing the sun is it's giant amount of gravity.

Will we eventually be sucked into the sun?

Are the other planets just earth in different stages of evolution?

Maybe Mercury WAS at one point within perfect range of the sun to host life.

Maybe Venus is earth at its last stages of losing its atmosphere by getting closer to the sun?

Mars, isn't quite there yet.

Perhaps as these outer planets get closer to the sun, they will continue to go through the stages that Mars and Earth and Venus have.

Gravitational pull and magnetivity will on a large scale manipulate the very structure of the atoms/molecules and compounds of which these planets are made of.

Maybe "Dwarf" planet Pluto is how the earth looked billions of years ago. And as it has made its rounds to the sun, had gone through different phases / stages.

As it got closer, became a gas structure due to the gravity ripping the molecules apart.

and even closer, heated the materials to condense, and rain back down to form a more solid planet,....

Kelly's thought for the day.

Crazy?

Yeah well....I am.

Space.com reports that the American Astronomical Unions Division of Planetary Scientists recognizes the IAU's authority to make a new planet defintion but expects it to be altered. Separately, 300 astronomers have signed a petition saying they won't use the definition. All this stems from the discontent over how only 424 astronomers voted on the proposal that demoted Pluto. Looks like this little dog is on the comeback trail.

i often considered that theroy in my youth. thinking of mars as at one point being inhabbited. lets call pluto an astral body.

of course my first line of thought with this thread is (oh yeah cause pluto is composed entirley of gass not solid matter)

second thought( pluto is an indespensable natural resourse a large astral body compossed of potential fossil fuel)

third thought( if we use all of pluto as fuel then what will be the enviromental reprocutions of the loss of that astal body and they effects of that matter converted to a new form and they energy we harness on the enviromeant)

and my final thought (who is the wealthiest of all gods? Pluto- all precious metals and gems reside under the earth in his underworld. old trivia)

Thats interesting, Kelly. Gives something to think about.
