Rip - Tasha

Recommended Posts

After a long and full life, my cat Tasha 's quality of life was at a point where it was time to put her to sleep. I took her to the vet at 1:30 this afternoon and stayed with her until her heart stopped beating. I buried her with the other cats that she shared time with when my daughter's mom and I were together. I'm grateful for the time we had with her and I hope, in her own cat way, she appreciated what we gave her. I will miss her.

I know what its like. Well, not exactly, but my dad and his girlfriend had two cats that were REALLY sick and they had to be put down. Its never the right time to say goodbye really. But as long as you know that you did the right thing, thats all that matters. You made it so that she didnt hurt anymore and for that im sure that she is grateful. Still cryin for you though :cry

:cry It's difficult when a pet dies. I remember when my mom and dad's cat died a few years ago - they got him when I was 7. He lived to be 17. I cried like a baby when they told me he died. I still get tears in my eyes when I think about him. I'm sorry for your loss.
