A Conversation On Instinct

(( This is a hypothetical passage of conversation between a few characters, mainly Queen of Worms, Isis, Aggie the Black Annis, Iba the Traveler and the Glitter Fairy ))

Iba moped about behind the bar counter as it was a slow night. She leaned over and fussed with a coffee stirer as the Queen and Isis fumbled with the stereo system. It was Aggie's night to entertain people but she was busy devouring her meal, in a refined sense of the word, prior to getting her music lists situated. It was the Glitter Fairy, whom everyone just dubbed 'Glitter' who was busying herself with light patterns and oooing and aaahing at the effects it produced. In Queen impatience, she scoffed and glared at Aggie's eating mannerisms.....

"One would think you could be a little less messy?"

"I havent dripped a single speck of this sauce on the counter."

Aggie glared back at Queen and merely stuck her food-caked tongue out, winking as she pulled it back in. Iba couldnt help but let out a light chuckle. After all, it was only the second time Aggie had eaten Beefaroni. Despite the cheap composition of the canned meal, Aggie found it rather tastey and appealing... a quick fix for a meat-eater like herself.

Glitter spoke up, "I remember the first time she ate that stuff. We had to rush her into the shower because she made a mess of herself."

Dont get Aggie wrong, and dont get Glitter wrong either. Aggie had been used to attacking living beings with her teeth. This "beefaroni" that Iba had splattered into a pan was the first meal that Aggie didnt have to kill first in order to eat it. It was the first meal that didnt struggle.

Iba muttered something from behind the hand that propped her head up, "The first time I saw you attack, it was the way you got to that guy and how you attacked him. You literally took a chunk out of his face."

"What's your point, Iba?"

"What I'm saying, Aggie, is that you made a lot of people lose their appetites."

"I'm a meat-eater, apparently that happens when I eat my meal."

"Yes but, I myself am a meat-eater but one would say that I'm a bit more refined in eating my food."

"So says the Eater of the Humans, Iba," Queen scoffed deeply from her throat. Soon, tunes began floating from the speakers, but they forgot to check the volume on the system and peoples ears would soon be ringing. Iba grinned at Queen and shrugged her shoulders.... "I may be part Anthropophagi but the Sylph AND Human in my blood restrains my instincts. Albeit, only by so much."

"My instincts arent restrainable," Isis sulked a little. Queen showed a bit of her softer side towards the Seraphim. Isis had a little "disfigurment" to Heaven's standards.... fang-filled mouths and demonic eyes set inside 6 wings wasnt normal for Angels, and neither was Isis' "Involuntary Cannibalistic Tendencies" as she put them.

"Regardless of your instincts, you can still behave," Queen remarked. Isis nodded and motioned Aggie to come over, "Are you going to set this playlist or what?" With that, Aggie finished her last bite of the canned pasta and waltzed over to the system, uploading the most recent set, making sure to add spaces for any requests that would be mentioned.

It's simplistic, and still in the brainstorming stage but I wanted to make a note and write stuff down. =)

Any questions that may arise, like which character has which heritage, monster-wise, ask away.
