When I was 16 or so, my friend was over at my house and my mom was making her instant coffee for herself as usual. We were looking into her cup of coffee and one of us said (can’t remember who) “what is with this bean water.” We thought (and still do) it was the funniest thing ever. I guess you had to be there. I was debating just using my sn from the dcc forums, but decided against it. :laughing

Few have asked. Rai linga is the primary god of the Muria tribe of the Bastar state in south central India. They are a vestige of the original Dravidians ---whose religion was Tantra (so you know they were pretty cool). The Dravidians were overrun by the Aryans and subsequently became derogatively referred to as the "untouchables". But the Muria tribe maintained its ancient lifestyle and never allowed themselves to become assimilated into the Aryan dominated civilization. Given their roots in tantric spirituality, The Muria (and the Dravidians before them) are among the most sexually free peoples that have ever occupied this Earth.

Another amazing feature is that the Muria respect their young, and their sexual rights, to such a high degree that they have been called "The Kingdom of the Young". Verrier Elwin was the anthropologist from England who "discovered" them and who wrote the amazing book, "The Muria and the Ghotul". He so fell in love with the tribe, that he married a tribeswoman and stayed there! The Muria and their small village seem to me to be one of the few times in human history when we "got it right"!

My name is kinda a joke. My freind and I were sitting around the computer one day using one of my profiles and all we got was icky old bald fat hairy men hitting on me. So we came up with a yahoo profile that makes me look like a satanic athiest (a contradiction in terms, no?) and it just sorta stuck so I used it on here. Also in Gothic Match. The nasty guys in local chat leave me alone now, I think I scare them lol.

Not if I understand it properly... it's actually exactly precise.

There's little creativity to my SN... I started calling my boyfriend "the boi" a few years ago and became The Lady by default. I answer to both Lady and Amanda. My LJ name (eternalmaiden) is a very spiritual thing though, reflecting my choice to be childfree and therefore being forever aligned with the Maiden goddess aspect.

Mine is pretty simple... I have been called a cat for as long as I can remember. This is due to the fact that when people pet me, I purr. Also when people try to poke my nose, my face scrunches up and I back away. Then when someone finally does hit my nose I practically sneeze and such. Hence the name.

Meow!

Mine is an easy explanation, I got it at City. I was Bouncing both physically and literally around the club, like a bunny, and like a bunny I am very quiet. the Killer came in when I was rushing to go somewhere, either dance floor or front door, but this guy wouldn't move so I broke and got loud, really really loud. I paralised my vocal chords yelling at him. I went from quiet happy bunnish girl to a killer bunny in a few seconds. I spell it Bunnie because I am not fond of fitting in, that explains Killer_Bunnie.

Yaay I got my new SN! Hopefully this one's a bit easier to pronounce/remember. It's another goddess name, or I should say Orisha name, from the Brazilian Candomble tradition. She's kind ov a badass roadhouse woman who is often found standing in tavern doorways with ambiguous welcoming/warning expression & gestures. Danger & allure, doesn't get much cooler than that!
