Sigh. I wanted those black cherry patent ones so bad. I missed out on getting them from the stores, and thought this was a good way to get them cheaper than buying off the HT website.

See my post in the classifieds if you're interested. I don't anticipate getting my money back.

Her response was basically that the boots she sold me were "close to" the picture, and "kindly" offered me a 50% refund and that I should keep the boots.

FUCK THAT. I sent her a seething e-mail telling her I want a full refund, including an additional $8.00 to ship them back, and that if it's not in my paypal account in 24 hours, I'll be submitting a fraud report with eBay.

I might, however, have a buyer from a local Yahoo group. If so, I'll be getting my money back that way, and I'll contact her back and tell her I'll settle for that 50% refund.

I'll actually end up a bit ahead, but that will enable me to buy those boots straight from the HT website.

I think I can actually pick them up at a local HT store. In which case, I can use my full 15% discount card. That would be sweet if it works that way, not sure.
