Would The Weather Of A Place...

Recommended Posts

I used to think living in New Orleans would be the bomb.......I visited and loved it.

Now I am not so sure after what happened.

It is still below sea level....they can't change that.......

Same for Cali. I hear part of it will eventually fall off into the ocean, and even though that is prob an over statement.....Earthquakes and land slides scare me...

I read this report about safe states weather wise and Michigan is considered pretty safe because we don't have allot of tornadoes but....

I also hear allot of people freeze to death or die shoveling snow.....I wonder if they took that into consideration?

I do think I would consider the weather when moving now. Not when I was younger.

But to live in a awesome place like Hawaii, the hurricane and volcano dangers might actually be worth it!

weather would be a BIG factor in where i would and would not live.

even here in michigan - if i was not from here, i would never move here.

i would love love love to be somewhere in the mid 70's, sunny with some clouds, mild breeze year round! i'd NEVER get sick of it. i don't care what anyone says.

Yes.

I used to live in central Florida and it was miserable most of the year. I can't tolerate heat and humidity the way I used to.

If I stay East I don't think I want to ever live anywhere south of the Mason-Dixon line again. I like it cool.

It would be difficult for me to live in a locale that has no autumn or winter. Call me crazy, but I likes me some chilly weather.

I also could NOT live anyplace with rather humid climes. That pretty much precludes anyplace in the deep South (not to mention cultural/social reasons for not wanting to live there).

Climate is a factor on where I live. I hate the heat and would not move anywhere it's hot or humid. I lived in Tennessee for a few years, it was a great place except the summer. Awful humidity on top of 80-90 degree temperature made it miserable for the summer time. Snow or cold is not a big deal unless it hits below the negatives on a consistent basis. Rain or cloudy days is not a big deal, I prefer cloudy days.

I have lived in Michigan all my life except for a few months in the Daytona Beach, Florida area and central North Carolina.

I absolutely will not live in a southern climate again. HATED IT.

I do not function in temperatures above 80 degrees. I function very well in cold temperatures.

Michigan is perfect for me. I love it.

And I have often said that I'm just not interested in living in an area I would have to evacuate on a regular basis, like coastal Florida or near fault lines. I agree with Sass on that one, big time. JUST MOVE.

I really could live without the winter, though I have an appreciation for it. Luckily, winters in Michigan haven't been as bad as when I was a kid. Really, I think I would just like a lot more sunny days in Michigan; not having the sun out makes me lethargic. Give me 40 more sunny days a years, and Michigan is my dream climate.

I LOVED Florida when I lived there.....I love heat, humidity, sun etc....I don't care...I love warmth! I'd live there again if it weren't for the hurricanes, and the tsunami thing....same with any of the coasts....

Except I missed my family and friends who are here.

I love here.

I love having the 4 seasons.

Landslides are bad, earthquakes are bad, hurricanes and tornadoes are bad, and are volcanoes & wind driven Fires....

So I'd try not to live near those areas....

I think Michigan is good.....except we are very close to a fault line...

other than that, I feel pretty good about being here.
