A Question About Tiger's Baseball Games...

so i was at the tiger's game last night and someone didn't believe the game went as long as it did. with fireworks and all after, and traffic/people taken into consideration too.

anyone know just how long a game does last? i really have wanted to know this for some time and every time i go to a game i always forget to pay attention to the time frame.

last night was a great game! grand slam. 17-2. :animier: and i had not seen fireworks after since back when i was pregnant with my son (who will be 11 soon) so that was cool. nice night for a game.

how many games do they generally play in a season? my son wanted to know this and i really have no idea. i couldn't even think of a rough estimate.

anyone on here even really LIKE baseball?

162 games/season and a game has the potential to last forever, however is generally over in 8.5-9 "innings" (which is the first 'normal' opportunity), however long that takes. It's also possible for a game to end at any point after 4.5 innings with a significant differance in runs scored (5) by the two teams playing and when the team behind in the score has had the last opportunity to "bat", during too inclement weather.

well this game was over in the top of the 9th i believe, when the orioles didn't score and it was already 17-2 i think by then it was 10 something now that i think about it ... game was scheduled to start at 7:05... fire works after... it was sometime after 11 i think by the time all was done and we left. yeah it was long night. i guess that seems like a long time for a game but it really seemed to fly by.

:devil

Yeah they hired some moron on nights, that probably can't even use a screwdriver at all.

His resume says he has experience in centerless grinding,I guess they did'nt bother

checking his past employment history, because he ended up crashing the machine

instead.my boss said this person probably won't last much longer.

IMO,every place I have worked where they have two or more shifts

it becomes a form of drama and bs.as long as the parts I machine out ,

don't get mixed up with his parts fine.anyone ever had to deal with this before?

cause I hope they get rid of him quick.IMO

PS I do know how to sabotage machines, but will not

bother due to getting fired for it.
