So a friend of mine is in search for a corset, and asks me where I would get one and I say, "well, online of course". Now I don't know WHY but she really doesn't want to get one over the internet. She wants to know where she could get one in the metro detroit area, and I drew a blank. I mean okay yeah there's the obvious like Hot Topic, but probably doesn't have what she wants and they're quality is cheap, and there's Noir Leather, but they're probably pricey. So now I consult all of you darlings and need to know...do any of you know where there is a shop in the area she can find one at? Thanks

Well ya know, if you want good quality, you won't find it at the dollar store. You get what you pay for IMO. I dont know the area well, but Ive been to Noir's and I bet you couldnt go wrong if you bought from there.

A number of us have corsets from Alter Ego Erotics on eBay.

I know she wants to NOT buy one online, but you really can't go wrong with the ones from that particular seller.

Of course, she only sells leather models. But the great thing about leather corsets is the way they eventually conform to your body. Not to mention, they're hot as hell - and I don't mean as in temperature. :D

Most of their designs sell for around $100, a steal for corsets of this quality.

I have the direct e-mail address for the person handling the selling if she wants to consult one-on-one for fit. The person I talk to there is beyond helpful with that sort of thing.

They do have some at Noir Leather too. It's not a big selection, but it's a start...
