All I can say is eat shit,morons,they had the two left lanes of eastbound 94 closed off,and the reason

not only me but others are annoyed,is they were not doing any work on the road at all.

Damn your tax dollars hard at work.

Shit I had to cut through alot of neighborhoods just to get home,took two hours.

IMO these people are just plain idiots.(takes a walk around the block to cool off)

The reason that happens was explained to me thus: the people who set out the lane closure markers are county or state workers who have no connection with the contractors who actually do the work. The contractors give the county the dates when they THINK they'll start the job, and that's when the county does the lane closures. But if there's a snag on their previous job... oh well. Seems like they could come up with a better system 'cos the current one is indeed pretty fucked up.
