Hun, do you have ANYONE who seriously wants to have a penpal or webpal or whatever who is lonely and not looking for a lover , just someone to talk to?

I am in the MySoldier program and no damn one wants to write back they just take my gifts and leave my hangin' and it suckith my woman!

I feel like shit.

I had promised a care package. But I couldn't get the damn thing together.

If the thought means anything to you, this is what I had planned to do. I was going to put together a package of stuff they would have sent to "our guys" during WWII. Stuff like a vintage pair of nylon stockings (Hey, sailor, new in town? You got nylons? Chocolate?), some Hershey Bars wrapped in vintage wrappers (couldn't find any, though I know I've seen them somewhere before), a Life Magazine from the period, some Lucky Strikes, a Betty Grable pinup, etc.

Couldn't manage to track down almost any of it. :(

I think about you a lot, though. I'm really looking forward to seeing you up at CC again. We were just becoming acquainted and whoosh! You went away.

After reading FC post if there is anything you need Candy, ANYTHING at all. Just post here when you get a chance .. what you need, and where I should send it. Its the least I can do.

I'm not a picky person. I enjoy just about everything due to the fact that you have nothing here to do! I can say however, I do not like the fact that it's a "dry" country. But we've had ways around it. :happy:

I'll answer just because she's on so infrequently. She has a laptop and can watch DVD's on it, I don't know what she has though. She loves getting music and used Itunes. Anything I send I rip it for her so she doesn't have a bunch of CD's laying around taking up space. As for my poop, who wouldn't want that, and believe me there is plenty to go around!

I joined the "My Soldier" program and the POC always givesme folks who take me packages and NEVER write back to me and it kinda makes me wanna slap a mutha ya know?

If you know ANY fellas/ladies who would like to take some time out to chat I would FREALLY like to have me a penpal again. I had 3 during Desert Storm and it seems like this time around no one seems to care for anything at all.

So what does the 'group' dig that I can grab ya from the wareouse club baby?

My Mumz postal office luves to send out shit to ya'll and make sure ya get a 'feel good' every once in a while. So seriously..what can ya think up? Do ya need bubble gum, jerky, I know ya like music but I can't do that techy shit so the maen will have to handle that for ya.

Thank you for the Hooah! This is my second tour in less than a year. I was home for about 9.5-10 months before I came back over. And now, my unit is going to NTC, which probably means I'll be going again. No biggie.

      I am currently floored.   FedEx did a massive 6 box delivery to the wrong address.  I had an autoship order scheduled to arrive before this past weekend.  Nothing showed up.  I contacted the order site and they had a link for the order...a photo of all my boxes thrown in the snow and up the sidewalk of a residence that was not mine.   You would think that at some point, the driver would have looked at the delivery address after they kept throwing box upon box at this location with no shelter from the elements.  They didn't even knock on the door to inform the residents that massive 65+ pound boxes were left all over their walkway.  Nope.  Just dumped them, took a photo as they were walking away and left.   I wonder what the person who found all of those misdelivered boxes must have been thinking when they saw them.  Maybe they kept everything to use, distribute or sell.  No idea.  No claim was filed on that end as of yet.   Fortunately for me, one of the sites that I ordered from, replaced everything at no extra cost.   Unfortunately, now I'm concerned for the other items yet to be delivered.   Needless to say, I'll be watching my notifications like a hawk.
