BrassFusion
I recognize ONE of the names under the DeVos support column. Conspicuously absent: Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh. And on the back, next to the address panel... I'm not sure exactly what they're hinting at, but I guess Democrats are against marriage, babies, and young white suburban families. Those commie bastards. By the way... this wasn't a pamphlet or anything. Two-sided color glossy postcard. I feel so... patronized.

Gaf The Horse With Tears
What would be the point of running if you didn't want to win?
BrassFusion
Before I knew anything about him I was thinking about it, cuz yeah, Granholm hasn't been doing all she could. Then I went to his website. His OWN site, on which he can try to win my affection in any way he chooses. I tried looking at his "economic plan." It was like a 50-page pamphlet about creating jobs. I swear to Christ, all it was was statistics about how bad the job market currently is. YES. THANK YOU. WE KNOW. Then I clicked the "family values" tab. I don't know why I bothered. I don't know what I expected. The thing that really gets me, though, and not to jack my own thread, is prop 2. I heard that neither Granholm NOR DeVos supports it. Gosh, the Detroit vote must be REALLY SUPER IMPORTANT to that asshole, so much that he'll compromise the only valid foundation of his party to get it. Shudder. BrassFusion
Politicians are like underwear, they should be changed often and for the same reason I think the original quote is "diapers" instead of underwear. It makes for a better visual. But yeah. Not in this case. I think the "cure" would be worse than the diseased incumbent. Damn. my neighbors have had their porch light on for three days. I wonder how much crack they smoke.
Msterbeau
What would be the point of running if you didn't want to win? True... But is sending me 20 slightly different versions of the same piece of literature going to change my mind? No. Statistics may say otherwise... I put them all in my recycling bin. What really clinched it was an interview I heard a week ago on NPR. He was so evasive and vague. It was insulting. He has no concrete message on anything other then "it's all Granholm's fault". Homicidalheathen
Yup. I get so pissed. If a politician has no other route than to do this then I loose interest in voting at all. Stick to the facts.....tell us what you plan to do to make CHANGE and leave each other the hell alone. I hate these sort of tactics.
HipsterDufus
I get something from the Republican party once EVERY OTHER DAY. So much garbage to throw away. Something tells me that anyone who is going to be swayed by postcards probably shouldn't be voting...
Homicidalheathen
Seemed like there was a rather unimpressive attempt in the media about 10 or so yrs ago for Clean Campaining because everyone said they were sick of this. But, if they are doing it.....it might be working....which shows how stupid most of society is.
