Looking For Goth/fetish/alternative Clothes

Here's the deal with this topic.

I used to weigh 200lbs. Now I weigh 130.

I want to get started making my own clothes, but that's going to take me awhile, since I know exactly nothing about sewing.

I usually wear a S/M shirt and a M/L bottom. My shoes are anywhere from an 8-10. My pant size is anywhere from a 5-9, usually longs because I'm 5'10". I wear a 18-22" corset.

If anyone has anything in that size range that they're thinking about selling, please let me know, because I have absolutely nothing anymore, and I can hardly afford rent and food, let alone buying brand new clothes.

maybe you could search out web sites that have tutorials on clothing design. Or perhaps you could survey you local salvation army store for clothes, this could be a inexpensive route for you to take. Maybe you could find stuff there that fits you and then when your sewing skills have developed you can alter the clothing to whatever you have in mind. You can also check out Darklinks.com they might have a link to some info that could be of help to you. Good luck!

A great alternative is to team up with somebody that does have sewing skills, like somebody in a college theatre department majoring in costume design. You can design the clothes and he or she can make them. All it would cost is materials and possibly a very small labor charge. Also check anime clubs for cosplayers. They have fantastic sewing skills and some are even familiar with working with vinyl.

Try resale shops. I found a pair of women's boots, almost knee high with a side zipper, combat boot type of bottom half and sole for under $10 in a size 8.5. You could get lucky. Was gonna get them for my niece but she wears a size 6.

I frequent the Salvation Army and the two Goodwills in Battle Creek, but I hardly ever find anything good, let alone anything that fits. :(
