I have decided after the first of the year I plan on getting this phone ,and

its almost like having a laptop wherever you go,and the price is awsome.

,This one had more good reviews than bad.

Plus unlimited internet access and its HTML capable.

anyone here ever bought one of these?

I have a Palm Treo 600 smartphone & I absolutely love it. I had a Clie PDA before, which I totally relied on (my memory is totally fried, I don't remember ANYTHING unless it's written down)... then it died & I figured why carry around a phone and PDA when I could just get a smartphone? It's great, very convenient... I'd never want to go back to having separate phone & PDA again. A big plus is being able to sync it to your desktop or laptop... that way you'll never be in the position of losing all your phone #s if your phone is lost or stolen.

Don't have any experience w/that Nokia but from the CNet piece it looks pretty good. The only downs I see to it are: (1) No touchscreen- doesn't matter to a lot of people but I like using the stylus more than the keyboard... I kind'a miss the Grafitti writing feature my Clie had. (2) that expansion slot placement sounds helly obnoxious, but if you don't need the extra memory on a regular basis it shouldn't be a huge issue. (3) that thing w/the record function IS obnoxious- my Clie had the same problem & it was a real pain in the ass.

Have you looked at the Motorola Q, Treo 650, TMobile Dash? Those are all nice, too.
