I was addicted to Vampire: Redemption when it came out. Not much replayability though. I haven't gotten Vampire: Bloodlines yet since my old computer wasn't fast enough to play it. My new one can though but I'm so addicted to Neverwinter Nights 2 that it'll be a while before I get around to anything else.

I understand calling Redemption unreplayable... but it is for me, lol. I love that game soooo much...

I think I've played it a total of four times. I always do the same things though. I don't worry about any Disciplines (except maybe Fortitude) until I find the books on Thaumaturgy and learn Path of Blood and Path of Fire and then I max those out. If I see a Setite off in the distance but he doesn't see me, I do Rain of Fire and he stands there like an idiot and dies. If I'm in melee with someone I use Theft of Vitae, they die, and I'm at full health. It's almost like cheating.

Redemption was the shiznit. I played it non stop but yeah, it's easy to cheese on the game once you learn Thaumaturgy. You just suck everyone dry of their vitae and hack em quick to death. The modern weapons sucked too, just kept my old school weapons.

I've got Bloodlines but haven't played it. I tried and it looked stupid so I never tried again. Maybe I'll check it out again sometime.

Never heard of Alleyways, it's probably not the same kind of game as the others or by the same company.

Dread Falchion all the way! The only modern weapon I used was a rocket launcher at the big dragon baddy at the end.

Boo to chasing critters you've feared. ESPECIALLY the nosferatu ones. that was just a huge pain in my ass.

hence keeping the ainkurn sword through the game

and yeah, all the guns were so terrible. they did a much better job with guns in bloodlines, to the point it's actually useful to learn how to shoot. bloodlines isn't as linear, nor is it as ridiculously EASY as redemption. i've wanted to go through and complete every side quest (except the one or two that cancel each other out), but i haven't been able to yet because of all the non-combat skills you need to do some of them.
