Heard it got picked up for tonight's dinner special at the Road Kill Café.

Well, delirium will do that to ya, but since the Café is open from 7am-9pm, the platypus should make it to Arizona in time for today's dinner rush...

Again, in the middle of a legal situation with courts vs. insurance company.  Oh, brother...this is annoying.

Or maybe it's insurance company vs. courts since the courts made the ruling and the insurance company disagreed.

Wishing I had been more careful with my feet outside last night. When I came back in from babysitting the kittens, since Slinky decided to go hunt and the little furbabies decided to play in the backyard where the dog goes, half my toes were numb and the very tip of the left big toe was blackish. I had a flashback to base when I received the most painful case of frostbite in my feet EVER.

I hadn't even thought about the shoes I slipped on as I rushed out the door, lace ballerina flats with a bow on top,  all I knew was Slinky had left, the bitties had woken up and they were playing on this side of the fence alone. I guess I'm a little overprotective since coming home to find their mother, SusieCat, and finally their sibling, Blackbeary, murdered by dogs. Plus, I didn't know they had their winter coats already. I stood at the foot of KitKat's stairs.  They came and played around me, scaring each other by hiding under my cloak and jumping out. They were so precious. I'm just glad KitKat arrived when she did. I had no idea how long I had been out there, but it was worth it. Seeing them like that.

Finally getting the chance to sit down and finish last night's dinner.  Can't believe I've been running between the dwellings and working outside (under the shelter and in the snow that's nearly 8 inches now) since 8:30am.

Relaxing after a busy day of shoveling snow with the Monchichis, checking over the vehicle, doing security checks and figuring how to handle the fallen shelter on the back of my house....looks like a parachute tried to eat my back porch, gagged on snow and coughed up a teepee.
