in other words coughing up a lung?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yeah I was sitting here wondering why I was coughing so much and I thought about it....I had to drive all over for work today, and I chain smoke when I drive. I normally only smoke maybe 1/2 a pack a day.

Watching the cat eat a spider.

edited because I'm a dumbass.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I've let my cats eat bugs before so I don't have to kill them.

Except for that time there was a spider big enough that I feared for my Asia's health & safety, so I had no choice but to pull her off it and kill it myself with a broom.

<---shudders. freaking spider phobia.

Yeah, she eats all the spiders that come into the house, which saves me from having to collect them and stick them back outside, and its cute to see the look of triumph on her face after she eats one.

Sigh. I love all critters, but once again (this is the 2nd ancient house we've rented in NC), our kitchen cupboards are mice-infested, and I wish our cats would take care of that like they do the bugs in the house.

You'd think with 10 cats we wouldn't HAVE that problem. The cats even like to go in and out of those cupboards sometimes. But they've never once brought us a trophy to show us how good their hunting skills are.

A dead mouse would make me sad. But at this point, I'm sick to death of having to clean & bleach everything I want to cook with.

Cats are funny like that. I had a mouse in the house once and I sent the cat to go get it, and she just looked at me, like "What am I supposed to do?" She was not interested in the mouse at all. I finally caught the mouse with some bbq tongs and put it outside and threw the tongs out.
