Still puttering around doing holiday-related stuff. I just finished putting together one of the cool little 14" trees I bought from the dollar store, and trimming it, along with the mantle (total cost: around $3.00-- not bad). Father Christmas kept falling off the top of the tree, but I think I have him stuck fast, now.

I still need some of that glittery cotton batting and a string of lights to do exactly what I want with it-- but so far, I'm satisfied with the results. I have a deep, nostalgic love for gaudy X-mas decorations. If it were up to me, I'd leave both my Yule and Samhain stuff up all year 'round. I'd have a "Nightmare Before Christmas" theme goin' on.

Now, I'm waiting on "Bubu" to get back from up north with the REAL tree, and the chainsaw (for cutting firewood)!!
