Nienna
I need to do something else with my hair. I'm bored with it and I don't think it's very attractive lately. It's about to the bottom of my shoulder blades now, dyed shiny black (not changing) and all one legnth except for some majorly grown out bangs / layers around my face. It's the remnants of a super awesome haircut I rocked about 2 years ago. I want something alittle edgy, easy to deal with (I am willing to use product and a hairdryer and straightener ONLY) and still long enough to pull back if I want to. I also need suggestions for a good, modern, and consistent salon near the Southfield area. Should I leave it long or go short again? Sometimes I love my long hair and want to keep growing it, sometimes I HATE it!
AstralCrux
I don't recommend going asymmetrical, only because people make goofy ass comments about "lopsided hair". I had this semi-spikey, messy look short do that I loved because all I had to do was put in some hair paste and make my hair messy. That was the best, but alas my love of 30s and 40s hair is demanding the cute wavyness. I've discovered some shortcuts, but it still takes a while to do my current look. Viva cute hair! Belle Morte
Good luck! I just chopped mine off. It is so hard to find a good haircut.
Fierce Critter
I got so sick of my hair I gave in and permed it. It's much better now. But I'm letting mine grow out, intending to go really, really long as I can, one length. So a perm really helps give such a plain, in-progress style some definition. I don't recommend a perm, but have you thought about layers? What about going back to bangs? Homicidalheathen
O0oh. http://hairstyles.hairboutique.com/details...&position=0 The problem is, your like me. You want it easy to style but kinda short....which leaves it hard to be able to have enough length to pull back at times.

Nienna
I chopped the hair. It's a very smooth graduated bob. Hairline legnth in back and alittle below my chin in front with lots of layers in back and smooth all one legnth in front with the ends curved to almost meet. I LOVE it! Was lots of fun to be able to toss it all over while dancing at CC last night and so much easier to deal with styling wise! Maybe will have a new icon pic soon! mallochai
Excellent! I'm a fan of the graduated bob. I've got one, though it's much too long right now. Next time, I'm going to have the front shortened, and have major layoring all through. My hair is naturally very curly, but when it's too long, it gets heavy, and just lays there. Very boring. It requires lots of upkeep. Which reminds me, it's time to color again. Looking forward to seeing the new 'do on you.

Brenda Starrr
I looooooove asymetrical hair. My daughter has an asymetrical bob, and I sort-of have an inverted bob. I think that they're very easy to style and can be worn with cute barrettes or headbands!
