pomba gira
Wish I'd known the camera ban was lifted for the occasion. Since I didn't, best I could do was a couple shots of me & Bean preparing for the debauchery, er, festivities. Note Psycho Kitty Charlotte in the 1st pic, on the prowl for thighs to claw. TheLordShaper
I rang in the new year cuddling with my girl and moping about living in lansing with absolutly nothing to do. We contomplated the drive down to CC but after we got drenched buy groceries I was velly a wee bit pissed to go out driving for 2 hours followed by excessive lurking, dancing and drinking, so we stayed in and it was lame but ehhh... it was cheap and safe so it wasnt all bad. TLS Prolly a wise decision, the drive down was HORRIBLE. Fuckin' poured rain the entire way. You know it's bad when you hit Oakland Cty & people are driving 60 mph. Even more fun was when I hit the crappy Detroit area roads & instantly started hydroplaning all over the place. I think the main reason I drank so godawful much was the drive being so nervewracking (excuses, excuses!). So even though I have yet to meet you & would like to very much... I'm kind'a glad you didn't risk it. Cuddling with a dear one is always a fine way to greet the New Year, anyway!
Draco1958
Glad I made it to CC for the most part. Was great seeing some old friends again. But at the same time kinda felt I shouldn't have been there but I'll deal with it. I shall say no more than that. Luluvox, wish I had introdeuced myself. It was nice seeing Crank, Rambo, Bean, meeting Pomba, Farril, Spook. HH, Catseyewiccan and others.
The Kanuck
this was certainly not the best new years for me for two reasons 1---i have a wonderful guy who treats me like a princes and a lovely little ring on my finger to prove how much we love each other, and yet i had no one to kiss me on new years but my friend denise. not that i dont totally love denise and all the rest of the draconian cast that was there for me, but it really sucks that jake wasnt there because his grandparents had to go and be all stupid and pay for a non-refundable non-transferable trip to jamaica which i just recently spoke to him and found out that no one in his family is enjoying in the least. asdkglashdglk!!!!! 2---we (draconian productions) had a chance for a big break on nye. a guy was coming to see us and we could have gotten some really great opportunities if he liked us. we had two shows. the first one went pretty good. the second was a disaster. it wasnt even the casts fault, a lot of people just got really drunk and it seemed like nothing would go right. so that was a MAJOR bummer on the whole evening for a lot of us... but anywho.... did anyone happen to see either of the draconian performances? i'd like some brutally honest opinions on how it went

Morbid Side
This is hard for me to say...but I had a fantastic time! I saw the usual's and the unusuals, but the night continued to get better for it was TL's birthday and I didn't need to get shit-faced just to have a good time. BillyDeath
I was bored. There is not a lot of cool goth or rock clubs, I know of, that were going on. I only went to an A.A. thing that played some hip-hop music, yuck, and ate oysters.
TygerLili
I had a pretty good time at City. We almost didn't go because I was bummed about not being able to drink or jar myself too much, but I'm glad we did. I got to meet a few new DGNers and talk to some I hadn't seen in months. I really need to work on not being so shy when I'm not drinking. Thanks to everyone who wished me Happy Birthday! The best parts of the night were being able to kiss my sweetie at midnight, and Headlessgoth and Janedazzle surprising me by showing up at the end of the night. LuluVox
My night at CC was decent, though I did a bit of a science experiment on myself by going out and dancing and drinking whilst having a really awful cough. What happened was that I was okay dancing for about three hours, then started coughing like a maniac and had to call it a night. I also felt the alcohol waaay more than I think I would have normally, despite not actually drinking very much. (Heh, this also serves as an apology to anyone I may have badgered, slurred things to, or otherwise acted strange toward. ) All in all it was a decent night, and much better than staying at home with my cough! Soulrev
I was there. My girlfriend and I drove across the lovely state of Michigan to come to CC for NYE. By the time we got there, I felt like absolute shit. I was having sweaty cold chills and shivering hot flashes and all around felt like shit. I did speak with Pomba Gira a little, danced a little bit, had a couple of drinks that didn't help my situation, and left the club early due to my condition. Wish I could have stayed longer and talked to more of you, but I guess there's always another time. Though, since I leave for Basic training in.. 11 days, I don't think it's going to be until Summertime. ps the mohawk is gone :*( Captain Moore made me shave it before I swore in. Grr.. ZhukovCodeslinger
Mine was spent discussing divorce and wondering if the kids' father will EVER contact me to discuss the situation because my decisions will have a direct impact on his extremely rare visitations. But, I'm actually okay. oh how crappy.... this year has really sucked for you. First your husband got that good job and you were so happy.... then he lost it and now this... Vampyro
It sucked as did last year, maybe I just leave and go to Iraq. I'll have more fun over there. No you wouldn't... Killing arabs sounds fun and all but.... ... the joy is ruined by all the fucking flies out there, you can't step 3 feet without some damned fly trying to buzz up your nose or in your eye.... My new years was great, HH prettymuch told all that happened... somewhere out there in the world, is a picture of 5-7 full moons. And city club was extremely dead on that night, but at least i got to see a couple of friends.
