Wonderful Kitten Needs A Home

Recommended Posts

Here's the deal.

There's a window to our house's crawlspace that got broken somehow, and a stray cat found its way in and was meowing continually under our bathroom, which is a little messed up and annoying. We got a cage from animal control and caught the cat and patched the window, so now the cat's in a cage in our garage, and it'll be picked up in the morning.

Thing is, this is NOT just a stray. I'm convinced it was someone's pet, either lost or abandoned, but without a tag. It's a young unneutered male, probably younger than a year on account of size (I don't know much about cats). He's gray with a white spot on his chest, and suspiciously clean considering I found him under the house.

I fed and watered him in the garage and let him stretch out a little bit. He looooves cuddling and attention, but he's scared of my dog. I'd definitely want to keep him myself (despite my standard hatred of cats), but we have family allergy and cat-related-bloodlust concerns.

He wasn't declawed, but it seemed like he was very careful with his claws and he didn't bite. Either that, or he just loves me. Well. I know if he's got any time at all and people go cat-shopping at the shelter, he WILL be adopted because he's just that awesome. I'd love for someone I know to take him, though, because then maybe I could visit... =) I call him Mr. Kitty, like Cartman's cat on South Park.

If anyone on here's looking for a cat, PM me and I'll try to find out where Animal Control's taking him tomorrow. But please... no personal guilt trips. There's no way this kitten won't get adopted, even if no one on here can take him.
