so hey hey hey HEY folks! i wrote this poem last week for my buddy nick, and i recited it at trixie's last night. it's hard to be objective about one's own work, so I'm wondering if anyone is intrigued enough by this to give a reaction... i'm not sure how obvious my message is.

Scream, anemone! Animal you are!

Protest relentless salty sea,

The thousands foot-pounds crushing thee.

Tear from ocean floor, reach for the stars, and you'll be free.

Howl, polyp, wild you are!

In your future, only a reef,

A useless thing unless you like supporting tropical resorts.

Be not vicarious! Redeem value unto yourself!

The venus flytrap's a plant and it's kicking your ass in the productivity department.
