Rayne
My daughter has this dress. The stitching has came out twice in it. I've resew-ed it a few times. Everytime I do, it comes out. It's one of her favourite dresses. Anyone have a sewwing machine? Willing to stitch it with that? I'll ship it if neccessary.
Nienna
where are you located? I have...like... 3. LOL Is the stitching coming out because the fabric isn't holding the stitches? (fraying, loose weave, or strain on the seams?) Or is it just that it was a bad stitch job to begin with and you had to re-do it by hand? I could do a double layer of stitches on the trouble seams in two stitch legnths. That holds pressure corsets together!
BrassFusion
i've got a really nice machine, actually. i'll do it if it's inconvenient for nienna, but yeah, if the fabric's bad it would probably need some reinforcement or othersuch voodoo magick. Rayne
Ypsilanti. ... I will ship it if needed. As for the stitching ... I'm not sure what's pulling it out. I was just taught how to sew when I was in Air Force ROTC on our uniforms. I can fix simple seams and holes, sew things on (buttons, patches ... etc) ... but that's as far as my knowledge goes.
