Guest Megalicious
Honestly it's better that you pay an arm and a leg, they will be of better quality and last longer. If you get them done cheaply it because they will be cheaply made, if your going to splurge in the first place you might as well pay more to have them last ALOT longer. BrassFusion
i bought some plastic ones online a couple years ago that came with this granular mix that made a waxy form to fit your teeth. they still fit, y'know, when i choose to wear them... they were called scarecrow fangs, or at least that's what it says on the little container. Vampfangs.com carries the Scarecrow custom fit line... also the Dental Distortions line. I know nothing about this whatsoever but have heard both brands are good. StrayBullet42
Thanks, I think I will spend the extra money. Do you know how I could find a dentist that will make the bridge fangs? All the ones on Vampfangs.com are full sets or just to big. A friend of mine had them years ago but doesn't remember who he went to.
Fierce Critter
I had some done by Newman Family Dental Centers - (313) 563-1860 3733 Telegraph Dearborn, MI 48124. That was over 10 years ago. My appliance consists of a pink piece that is custom molded to fit exactly on the front top of my gums. The fangs themselves slightly hook on and behind the teeth that are between my front teeth and my canines. I opted for putting them there as my canines are oddly blunt and I didn't think capping them would be very stable. It's made out of denture material. Strong enough for more delicate eating, and with practice, I can drink with them. However, they are NOT strong enough to bite into human flesh - which I learned the hard way, and snapped one of the fangs in half. I have yet to take them back there to have them repaired. When I first had them done, they had never done anything like that before. They only charged me about $100-$150. But they said they'd never go that cheap again. As it was, I stupidly tried to file the original pair smaller (don't ask) and broke it, and they repaired them and I think it cost me another $100-$150. I'm assuming it's going to cost about the same to have them fixed again. They do push my upper lip out slightly. Not enough to give a more werewolf appearance than vampire. But it's more stable than just individual caps. They have their own lab on site, which is particularly beneficial. If you want to check them out or even call them, drop me a PM and I'll give you my real name so they can refer to my file. Maybe that'll get you a good price.
