painted miniatures

theyre for a game. table-top wargaming. basically, you buy these minis in packages, generally in parts. you clean them up (mold lines etc) put them together (this is where some folks like to get creative and 'convert' their minis by changing the positioning etc) and then paint them.

and of course, then play the games.

so i put these together (with some 'conversions') and painted them. im not a spectacular painter, but i like to think im improving :wink :

we also do the same for the terrain (the buildings and trees etc) though generally they are home-built rather than bought. i have tons of styrofoam and food contains etc in the basement, in various stages of becoming 'terrain' for my tabletop.

when you play, you put stuff on the table so it looks cool and has a theme to it etc, then set up your models according to the rules and procede from there.

its a hobby with many aspects.

That is cool Paradox. I wish I had the patience to do something like that on that kind of scale. I've done some things for my daughter like create school rooms out of boxes for her dolls when she was younger but it was very not so detailed work. But what you've done there looks great......very cool stuff. :cool :
