Who's Doing What For Vd

Recommended Posts

Me and the hubby don't have any plans. We usually don't do anything special for VD.

BUT, I did just send out valentine's to a bunch of friends. You know those little kdi valentines with barbie and Dinosarus on them and stuff? Yeah, I sent those, except the frigging post office wont' mail them! They're not standard size envelopes. ARGH! So, I had to re-stuff them, but they'll all get there just fine.

I renting a bunch of Yugio cartoons for the boys and moving the tv into thier room. Then I am going to cook a shit load of pizza pockets, poor a few glasses of caffeen/sugar free soda and then I am going to cook my wife her favorite meal to be served by candle light. Then, after we eat we are going to watch Empire of the Rising sun in our room... it's what we watched on our first date.

Prolly just sit at home, wearing a dirty wife-beater shirt, no pants on, sitting in front of the tv while holding the remote in one hand while holding a 40 in the other with a cock-ring strapped on watching "sista sista"

Now that is one hell of an image. Why does the song "Love and Marriage" come to mind??

I never do anything for Valentine's Day. Last year I did start celebrating The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre Day. I drink one shot for all of Bugs Moran's men who got shot by Al Capone's men. I can't do that this year though as I have to work that night.

I should be getting laid the night before though. :D

Probably nothing. Saving our money for moving. I don't like the chocolate that comes in those big, overpriced hearts. And while I'd appreciate the sentiment if Jon bought me flowers, I'd have trouble enjoying them because I wouldn't be able to get out of my mind how many groceries we would have been able to buy with the inflated price of something that'll be dead in a week.

I'm actually fond of Valentine's Day. And ordinarily, the above stuff would touch me. But these days, pragmatism is overruling sentimentality. If Jon leaves me a quickly scribbled note on looseleaf paper on his way to work, I'll be a happy girl.

Since my birthday comes just two weeks after, we usually don't do anything too costly either. Maybe dinner.

Our big excitement is going to stores the day after and getting all the half-priced goodies. :)

Carla came for the weekend to celebrate early. We made each other cards and awesome little gift bags. We had a $10 spending limit and I think our presents were better for it.

I just got back from dropping her off at the airport. We had plenty of snuggle time but it's never enough anymore. I can't wait for the day she moves in...
