You Are 24% Shy

You are slightly shy, but overall, your reactions to social situations are normal.

You dread difficult social situations, but you still handle them with grace.

Hmm. Not sure how accurate this is. A lot of the items I was unsure whether to answer from a "doable" or "comfortable" perspective. I'm naturally hella shy, but being from a very social professional family had a lot of social skills hammered into me from an early age. So I know how to fake it pretty well in situations that are less than comfortable for me. The training kicks in naturally in business or otherwise "important" situations, but the hard part has been learning to use the same skill set in situations where I don't "have to".

But... looking over the questions made me realize how much I've improved over the years, in terms of actually feeling confident and comfortable with my social abilities... it's the result of much conscious effort, so that feels good. And I really, really need to feel good about myself in some form or fashion right now. :animier:

You are a very shy person, and it has started to impact your life in a negative way.

If you can avoid human contact, you usually do. And as a result, you miss out on a lot.

I love how the shy people have the most outgoing personalities when drunk

That might explain why no one seems shy when people meet them.
