exactly. but it is not as fun when he is on vacation because now i have to wait til he gets back to comment on everything i have said about him in all these threads...

I had a text from Rayne at lunch today. They were in Seattle. They'll be home tonight so you can get immediate response to your scapegoating tactics... :wink

It is very often the reader's choice to take offense at something. I think a lot of people read what you write with prejudice and therefore do not get the sarcasm, misconstrue things or just straight out nitpick at bits and pieces of what you say. I like a lot of what I have read in your posts and I am not afraid to admit it.

Exactly (and DAYAM I miss Tina).

Brass and I have had a torrid mutual liking of one another since about, oh...day three of her appearance here. She is sarcastic, yes. She talks out of her ass sometimes, yes. She's a bit proud sometimes, yes. But then again I too am guilty of the above mentioned charges....anybody remember the double dog darefest between Game of Chance and myself? And to be honest, we've ALL taken turns allowing our emotions to overule our actions.

the girl is smart. straight up.

she is talented, straight up.

and she adds something to this place, of that i have no doubt.

So let's ponder the above stated words of Marblez who is as beautiful as she is wise.

I think one of the lessons to learn here is that it takes time for people to learn one another's habits and to figure out ways to work with them without requiring wholesale change on either person's part. It's taken me a long time to have the level of respect I have for Gaf (Mark). The only way that happened is through time and effort and a willingness to not place judgements on his behaviors and opinions, even if I didn't like them at the time. It doesn't mean I agree with everything he has to say, but I take the time and make an effort to understand it and I also make an effort to be civil. I try to do the same for everyone else, and I would hope that others make that effort when dealing with me.

Um.. thanks... but.. I'm not sure what I have to do with any of this crap. I have taken care to not get involved at all in the latest bitchfest over BF. I do find it funny though... specially the BF part.

you don't have anything to do with it. marc was just using his interaction with you as an example.

I TOTALLY PROMISE i'll stop being so sarcastic and full of bleeding-heart liberal opinions and stuff.

I mean, I know you all hate me, even though the vast majority of you haven't personally brought it to my attention. I don't see how ANYONE could love me. Vampyro is right. I'm just a no-good moocow. I'm so selfish to exercise my right to voice my opinions and use logic to try to persuade others of the soundness of those opinions. I should ACCEPT the world the way it is and learn my place in it. I mean, men have the right to complain, but I'M just a woman. I don't want everyone to think I'm an overbearing shrew. How would I ever find a husband?

Please, DGN, accept my apology.
