phee
It was made into a film, titled Charly, but Charlie was played by Cliff Robertson, not John Travolta. Unless you are talking about Phenomenon, which was dumb. And stupid. And also dumb. I just finished Bridget Jones' Diary. She's annoying and whiny; she needs to learn to be a woman and not a girl. I'm working on Thirteen Days: A Memoir of the Cuban Missile Crisis at the moment. Kinda the same book if you think about it....

IT was the "not supposed to be funny bubble boy movie" about the real bubble boy.... and it wasnt supposed to be funny.

pomba gira
Terry Pratchett - Carpe Jugulum I absolutely love the Discworld series, there's a book that fits every aspect of society, and paints it in such surreal common sensability, while at the same time making it hilarious. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I loved the one where the First Tourist guy comes & sells everyone insurance, and they promptly burn the entire city down. Reminded me of Detroit when I was growing up. :devil anyway... Nalo Hopkinson, Midnight Robber Hunter x Hunter vol. 3 Some sci fi 'zine from the '70s with a couple cool Karl Edward Wagner stories Speaking of reading, I'm trying to thin out my book collection some more... anyone looking for hard-to-find out of print sci fi & fantasy, let me know... Oh and Metro Times and Phanamanews and Scientific American and Cannabis Culture. I thought about getting a bunch of porn instead :fear as I was at New Horizons on 13 Ml and Little Mack. I decided to feed my brain instead. It was so funny, there was this guy there and he walks up to the counter and goes 'do you have the New Book of Buds?' (As in pot buds) and they guy behind the counter says: 'no we are out of it' and smiles........and I am thinking what is with Roseville are we a bunch of stoner's or what??? Heh heh. NickolausPacione
I am reading a bunch of anthologies and submissions for issue three of the magazine, one anthology I am reading a lot these days is Quakes and Storms: A Natural Disaster Anthology I edited then the second issue of The Ethereal Gazette. I am also reading Sacrifice by Macey Baggett Wuesthoff. Then I am reading my project Tabloid Purposes II. I edited all three of these publications, co-edited the first one mentioned in the list.
